![]() I don't know if this helps, but for some reason, my game is always 'validating' itself, leading to long periods where it won't launch until it's done. I also updated my graphics driver to the latest, but to be honest, I don't think either of these two are going to help. (If it works, I'll message again in a few minutes. I reinstalled VC Redist, it's now at 2019, after this test, but haven't restarted as of writing. ![]() The newer ships loaded as normal, but when I went to the older ships, I still had no images on them, and they refused to load. Not sure if that makes a difference about the available features or not. The first thing I noticed, which I didn't before, was that I was in experimental mode. I didn't seem to get the email alert, which is strange.Īnyway, I have moved the file and folder in question away to my desktop, and after having my ears blown out by the music, I spent went ahead and tried testing. Sorry about me not contacting you right away. (Note: There are no logs involving this since the game neither crashes nor does it seem to try to load anything.) I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, and I've been trying to figure out a fix, but at this point, I've given up. The odd thing is that when I go to leave the blueprint screen, it gives me the 'bigger grids take time to load' notification, but the grids I'm loading are small, some less then 5k blocks. (It was an empty world with nothing in it except me) I did find that enabling and disabling cloud storage temporarily lets me use my personal blueprints, though after switching worlds, I lost their use again. I went through some forums to try and see if anyone else had the same problem, and found nothing. Not too long ago, it seems to have spread to my personal blueprints. Space Engineers shouldn’t be about troops it should be about the machinery you build.Hello, I'm hoping someone can help with this or find what's causing it.įor the past year, maybe more, I've been unable to load blueprints from the workshop, regardless if it's through the F10 menu or when using projectors. We expect players will avoid engaging in direct man-to-man combat and instead use their creativity and engineering skills to build war machines and fortifications to survive in space and on planets. Space Engineers concentrates on construction and exploration aspects, but can be played as a survival shooter as well. Space Engineers strives to follow the laws of physics and doesn't use technologies that wouldn't be feasible in the near future. Think about modern-day NASA technology extrapolated 60 years into the future. Space Engineers is inspired by reality and by how things work. Individual modules have real volume and storage capacity. Volumetric objects behave like real physical objects with mass, inertia and velocity. Volumetric objects are structures composed from block-like modules interlocked in a grid. The game can be played either in single or multiplayer modes. Space Engineers features a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. Featuring both creative and survival modes, there is no limit to what can be built, utilized and explored. Players build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civil and military), pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. Some resources are absolutely critical: run out of refined uranium for instance and you might find yourself without the power you need to refine uranium. In Survival mode you'll have to dig the resources you need to build out of planets and asteroids and you may find yourself in danger not only from enemies but also from running out of food water or air. Creative mode is pure sandbox: you have all the resources you need and what you build is constrained only by your imagination. ![]() You can choose to play Space Engineers either in Survival mode or in Creative mode. Most of the action takes place in orbit but there are also explorable planets populated both by space pirates and dangerous alien creatures. This voxel-based game resembles Minecraft in its basic structure: players must mine resources and fend off enemies to survive in a hostile world but the real fun is building exciting and elaborate structures including space ships and space stations. Space Engineers is a science-fiction survival and building game.
